Then the king of Egypt gathered together great forces, as the sand which is by the sea shore, and many ships, and sought to make himself master of Alexander’s kingdom by deceit, and to add it to his own kingdom.
καὶ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου ἤθροισεν δυνάμεις πολλὰς ὡς ἡ ἄμμος ἡ παρὰ τὸ χεῖλος τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ πλοῖα πολλὰ καὶ ἐζήτησε κατακρατῆσαι τῆς βασιλείας Ἀλεξάνδρου δόλῳ καὶ προσθεῖναι αὐτὴν τῇ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ
ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܟܢܫ ܠܗ ܚܝܠܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܝܟ ܚܠܐ ܕܥܠ ܣܦܬܗ ܕܝܡܐ ܘܐ̈ܠܦܐ ܣܓܝ̈ܐܬܐ
