זְב֣וּבֵי מָ֔וֶת יַבְאִ֥ישׁ יַבִּ֖יעַ שֶׁ֣מֶן רוֹקֵ֑חַ יָקָ֛ר מֵ/חָכְמָ֥ה מִ/כָּב֖וֹד סִכְל֥וּת מְעָֽט׃
μυῖαι θανατοῦσαι σαπριοῦσιν σκευασίαν ἐλαίου ἡδύσματος τίμιον ὀλίγον σοφίας ὑπὲρ δόξαν ἀφροσύνης μεγάλης
ܕܒ̈ܒܐ ܕܡܝܬܝܢ ܡܣܪܝܢ ܡܐܢܐ ܕܡܫܚܐ ܒܣܝܡܐ ܝܩܝܪܐ ܡܢ ܚܟܡܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܣܘܓܐܬ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ
[Muscae morientes perdunt suavitatem unguenti. Pretiosior est sapientia et gloria, parva et ad tempus stultitia.
